Hello, i have just removed my 6 ohm car speakers and out in 4 ohm speakers.. is this bad?

Sorry, i am new to this stuff and dont really know what im talking about,, whats the difference between 6 ohm and 4 ohm?

Ohms is the amount of resistance that the speaker presents to the amplifier. If your amplifier is rated to run 4 ohm speakers then you will actually get more power from your amp. If it is not rated then you might run into a problem with the amp shutting down or overheating.

Now if you don't crank on the volume knob you should be fine. Chances are, you do not have an aftermarket headunit. You can get a cheap 50$ Headunit at walmart that will handle 4 ohms no problem and maybe be an upgrade from the factory stereo headunit; spend a little more and you can get a better quality sound. This is what I recommend.
