Hi, can i connect samsung ht j5550k speaker to other dvd player.. ?

My samsung ht j5550k blue ray player is damaged and i want to replace it with any other dvd player is it possible ? Does the sound quality be good as the old one?

What you call a "player" does contain a disc player but it is the processor-amplifier for the speakers as well. They don't sell units like this separately. I could not find any specs on the speakers themselves so can't say if they could be used with a stand alone receiver. The subwoofer is passive and all AVRs assume you will be using a self powered subwoofer. so it won't work for you.
