Hey folks, I am posting this because I have no idea which laptop I should buy.

I will be attending university next year, as a life science student. I will be using the laptop mainly for educational purposes, and streaming anime. Although I may spent a bit of my time playing League of Legends.

I am mainly looking for a laptop that can last for a long time, and should be easily portable. As for the screen size, it should be somewhat around 13.3 inch.

Lastly, I do not have a limited budget. But I do hope the laptop will not cost anything more than 1,500 dollars.

Thanks in advance.

The new Dell XPS 13 would be the way to go here, IMO. It's 2.6lbs, 0.6" thin, is advertised to get up to 15hrs of battery life (should usually get 12-13 with dimmed display and light use), a borderless 13.3" 1920x1080 IPS display, and a new Broadwell processor with Intel HD 5500 graphics that are a little under the performance of Nvidia GT 820M dedicated graphics.

It'd play LoL, wouldn't kill your budget, and would be really, really easy to take around school. Here's a list of other ultraportables you can compare to, and you shouldn't have to get anywhere near the top of your budget.
