What's going on as this is happening? Does your computer power down?

Hi, My computer is not powering up, no fans or anything, the power supply I have is 22v 818ma, I know that the voltage is slightly higher than it should be, but the amps are very low, could this be part of the problem?

Did you try removing the battery then powering the laptop up? If that doesn't work, you may or may not have a bad charger. I'd call Toshiba support on this.

Hi, I have tried the charger with a volt meter and it is showing what it should, I have tried removing the battery, the lights still flash, I have also tried taking out and replacing the ram, I think the next logical step should be to obtain the correct charger, then go from there, thanks for your help anyway, when I obtain the correct charger I will come back on here and let you know the outcome. barnie.
