Hello,

So I bought a Samsung UE50KU6020 from Currys black friday sale for £449.99.
I have previously been looking at the Hisense on Amazon for £429 but decided that as the Samsung had been reduced to such a similar price it was the better option.
After skipping black friday and cyber monday the Hisense is now on sale for £379.99.

My question is which is the better buy?
They both seem to be similar picture quality wise but the Samsung may perform better with the apps. I would just like a second opinion as I am slightly tempted to cancel my order for the Samsung and get the Hisense (The Samsung was ordered on the 26th November but they wont have stock for me until the 15th December).

Thanks

Regardless of which TV is actually better I think you are much better off with a mainstream TV maker that will at least offer some service in and out of warranty. Most third tier manufacturers invest virtually nothing in repair facilities and parts for repairs. Imagine that your TV breaks in 18 months and Hisense tells you that not only do they not have anyone to repair it but that there are no parts available either so nobody else can either.

To save you from a horrible mistake save yourself time and effort and stay away from the essence, I have it sitting beside me and its crap sat and watched 4k guardians of the galaxy last night and it was awful when something was moving fast on screen the blur was too much then after that we put the PC on it to play a couple of games and needless to say that was awful too. Like he said stick to a mainstream tv maker
