Please help
hitachi 65f59a television - I only see Blue and Green colors.
There was a red that pops in and out but normally just Blue and Green

Your TV is a CRT based rear projector which has separate tubes for each color (red, blue, and green). The red "gun" is the obvious problem. I think you will need a technician to sort this for you.
To make sure that the TV is the problem make sure it happens with multiple sources as a bad cable could also be at fault.
