Solved! Hitachi flickers

Hitachi 46w500 started flickering when turned on and takes a while to settle in. Now it canhappen at times when I use volume , switch channels? Fix?

Are you saying this is the reason that my system flickers the picture on and off ?

just saying that it should be a hardware issue with your TV. Had a closer look at the video, and it might not be suitable for your problem.

Have a look at the capacitors inside your TV. Might not be healthy anymore.
