Hi all, I'm currently looking for a laptop that will run Lotro.

I have a home gaming desktop and looking to replace it with a laptop. I found this on at staples for $799.99


Just wondering if anyone has this laptop and how you like it, also is the laptop faster and just has fast has my desktop. Thanks everyone.

Hello bakuc;

Laptop CPU is better. HD 5650 in laptop lags behind the 8800GT desktop video quite a bit.

Passmark CPU benchmark scores:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ = 1361
Intel Core i5 430M @ 2.27GHz = 2348

Passmark video card benchmarks:
GeForce 8800 GT = 944
Mobility Radeon HD 5850 = 968

Mobility Radeon HD 5650 = 620
GeForce 7900 GS = 608

GeForce GTX 460M = 1,213
GeForce 8800 Ultra = 1,152

Ok looks like I just need to find one that has a Mobility Radeon HD 5850,
