Home theater receiver

Solution
Looking at the manual, it looks like the speakers are connected by wires that go into clips, correct? If so, you're in luck, because that's pretty standard. Most receivers don't even come with speakers, since people want to configure their own layouts...so, as long as the receiver you're looking at has a similar type of connector (can also be posts with screw-downs or something), you'll be fine.

I found the Yamaha RX-V675 to be very affordable and effective, for what it's worth

The JVC system has the subwoofer amplifier in the receiver but stand alone receivers are all designed to use self amplified subwoofers. You will have to either replace the JVC passive subwoofer with an self powered active one or add an amplifier to power the JVC sub. All the other speakers are no problem.
