Home Theater Speakers

I am looking for some speakers that I can buy for a Home theater/gaming set up. I would like the price to be around $100 and be able to hook up through speaker wire.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

what amplifier do you have? model or watt per channel @ what impedance?
is $100 for each or is that for all
how many speakers? what about a subwoofer?
what country?
does size matter?

I'm getting an older panosonic receiver. I would like the price for all speakers to be around $100.

good luck with that... that is not going to happen for anything new in the home theater category..

your best bet would be to look for a used set of speakers. likely the only thing you will find for that price is an older HTIB set but you need to be careful as some of those arent to the same standards as receivers.
