home theatre system, sonos and additional speakers?

I have a sony golf ball surround sound speaker system set up with my TV in my outdoor pub type thing. I want to connect a sonos of some description (connect) to this so I can play music though the speaker system and can connect this through the optical connection!?!

Here comes the question. I want to have two speakers outside which I'd like pump out the same music. Is there a way of getting the audio from the home theatre and adding a switch to the outside speakers so I can turn them off when the tv is on?

Or if I get a connect amp to connect the speakers can this be connected to the home theatre as well?

Seems to be a little excessive to spend £399 for the Connect amp and £279 for the connect that will sit in exactly the same place. and pump out exactly the same musak.

I could get a connect amp and connect 4 speakers but this then would make the pub type thing speaker city.

The Sonos Connect has analog, coax and optical digital audio outputs that work at the same time. You can connect the optical out to the surround sound setup and use the analog outputs to feed an amp that will power the outside speakers. That could be any mini system. receiver, integrated amp or basic amp with its own volume control.
