Hook up Sub woofer, HELP please !!!!!

Just picked up a Pyle Hydrid Pre-Amplifier and need to know how to hook my Audiobahn sub up to it?

its a hybrid pre-amp Pyle P3201ATU, has red and white inputs labeled sub out 1 and sub out 2. i do not know the exact model of the sub, i bought it off kijiji.

Yes, those are the subwoofer outputs, but you can drive only an active subwoofer, meaning your sub should have a built-in amplifier and therefore it should have a power cord. Most likely you must buy an additional power amplifier for your sub (post a picture with the sub' input panel or label, to properly make an amp recommendation).

Okay, makes sense. Now the receiver is 3000w, what is that good for ? my thoughts were that the 3000w would be more then enough power to really push my sub.

the sub is boxed so i cant capture a label or anything. its audiobahn 1000w

As Christi72 said the sub out of the Pyle is unpowered so you need a self powered sub or separate outboard amp to power the sub. The wattage of the Pyle is not for the sub (and pretty much a lie as well).

Yeah no doubt, So what good is the "3000" watts for? Just my speakers?

They say the amplifier is capable of 3000W peak power on satellites (L+R), which it's just marketing, because the peak power have no practical use; they also give a rating of 300W/8Ohm, so roughly 150W per channel, but they are not saying which kind of power they measured (continuous or maximal); I guess you can count on max. 75W-100W per channel:

If your sub has an 1000W rating, you can use a 300 Watt amplifier, but you must be sure of the subwoofer' impedance; try to open the enclosure and find out the exact model of the speaker (Audiobahn have 10", 12" and 15" speakers with the same 1000W rating).
