I want to hook up my Yamaha receiver Model RX-V393 to my Samsung TV Model # UN55J6300AF.

the only way to do it would be to run a 3.5mm headphone from the tv to red/white RCA on the receiver

So this Yamaha is a pure analog multi-channel but with no dolby decoder. All u can get out of it is stereo.

TV (headphone_out) to Yamaha (cd_in).
