Hooking up Roku 3 box to TV without HDMI ports

What I did........ RCA plugs used from AV2 port to AV port on converter box. HDMI cord from converter box to HDMI port on Roku box. Does not work. Anyone have suggestions?

Sell it and buy an old one that has RCA on it.

You don't mention what converter box, so no idea, but the Roku does use HDCP and won't display a picture without proper copy protection being detected.

Sound like you might have a bad converter box. Try it with another source.
