Hot connect external speakers for Samsung ua40f6400ar tv

My tv speakers got damaged. They are not working. I want to connect external speakers for Samsung ua40f6400ar tv. I am not able to figure it out how to connect external speakers. Please suggest the best way to connect external speakers. I am having creative speakers with 3.5mm jack and power plug. Is this enough to connect or should i require few things for the connection.

If you search E-Bay you can buy used replacement speakers probably. There are lots of speakers listed.

The manual looks like the TV has a 3.5mm audio output port. I would try it.
