not 100% true there are a few laptops on the market that do have HDMI in. The new Alienware 18 is one of them. It's even advertised as a feature on the website as well as their print literature. With that said it's one of a literal handful (maybe 3 or 4 in the entire market) that I can think of to offer the option

Alienware is an exception as the vast majority laptops do not have HMDI input.

So the answer is a possible yes so as long as you have an Alienware 18 laptop which has a starting price of $2,100. I've seen a few $5,000 configurations for that laptop...
