How can I delete my phone messages on a Galaxy S3 using my computer?

So since my screen is black and I will give the phone to another person who will fix it I want to delete all my messages, buy I can't since the screen simply doesn't work (the phone turns on and all but no image is shown). So how can I delete all massages from my phone while it's plugged to my computer? And the messages are on the phone memory not other removable memory and such.

I think the only thing you can do is backup the phone using Kies and then resetting the phone back to factory.
