How can i hook up my tcl tv to my blu ray player

How can I hook up my tcl tv to my blue ray player.. I don't see an optical port on the back of my tv but I see one on my blue ray player.. Really need help with this one... Thanks charlotte

Assuming both your TV and BD player have HDMI you don't need to use the optical output of the player. HDMI handles video and audio.
