Hey, we just bought a"Roku". Awesome. But I really would love to drop cable and keep internet. That would drop a 100$ a month off my bills. But we want to record movies to. So how can I just pay for internet, drop cable but record what I want to see later? I would rather pay just for the channels I want. Not for basic cable and 6$ a box and a phone that we don't use...

What movies are you looking to record if you won't have cable? From what source? If you are talking about the streaming movies from Roku like in Netflix, well they are streaming, you can run them whenever you want.

You can record OTA antenna sources using the Roku https://blog.roku.com/blog/2015/07/27/5-things-you-didnt-know-you-can-do-with-your-roku-player-or-roku-tv/ https://www.tablotv.com/for-roku/
