I simply want to access my steam games library from my desktop PC and access the same library from my laptop, when I'm traveling. I can see my entire games library when I open Steam on my desktop PC and log into my account, I can see my whole games library but when I log in from my laptop, the games library is completely empty. There has to be an easy fix or this. I tried installing "Family Share" but that does not do what I'm talking about. I just want to play the games that I already purchased, on two different PC's and not at the same time and not sharing the games with other users....

Long as they are installed in both places should be fine. I do it all the time with Dota2

Make sure you are viewing full library not just installed.

If everything isn't showing then reinstall steam and tell it that you are logging in from a new computer. It should make your entire library available to download to the laptop.
