Are you asking how to do a regular reset or how to factory reset your phone?

Before you do any of that, you should check to see if you had a secondary email attached to your Google Account, and you can recover the account from there. Other than that, you can call Google and have them recover the password for you.

Also, get a password manager.

if you forget you google password then just go to google.com and recover it, if you forgot your e-mail then a reset will not help. or look up directions to boot to your phones recovery and perform a reset from there
