how can I send my internet connection from my phone or pc to another device without using my phone carriers data

For example I want to send my wifi to a friend but I don't feel comfortable giving out my password.
What i am trying to accomplish is like setting up a mobile hot-spot yet instead of using my carriers data i wish to use my wifi connection not my 4G.

You have no choice but to use data if you use your phone. Unless you use your wifi at home. If it's available

But you would still have to give them your password

Setup a wifi guest setup on the router, quite a few routers have that option, and you can use separate passwords for that.
