How can I update my RCA voyager II tablet

I need help to update it it won't let me download anything from Google play

Well it is going to depend on what it is saying is the reason it won't let you download anything. Is it due to no room on the device? Lack of connection? No data? what?

I keep getting error 504 after factory reset. I cannot download my millionaire trivia game it says it is incompatible with my device.I'm thinking it is a critical Google update for older devices. Any suggestions?
