How can I use the tablet mode on my HP Pavilion g6?

I have Windows 10 and I have the option to put it in tablet mode...making it touch screen. How can I use the touch screen mode without making a makeshift piece?

What is the exact model #? How old is it? Did it come with Windows 10?

I have a feeling this is an older laptop (at least a couple of years), and you just installed Windows 10 on it.
And just because Windows 10 has the tablet option, it doesn't magically turn a non-touchscreen laptop into one. You would have to replace the original screen.
