How can I watch HD tv on 2 tv's using 1 set top box

I need to know what to do so I can watch tv on 2 rooms using 1 set top box

The same program in each room? a simple HDMI or RCA or such cable splitter (what ever your tv is using)

Different programs? most likely the box wont support it as most companys only allow one device a box that way they can charge you more for box rental fees
