How can u play a DVD/CD in a 98 laptop

Wanna watch a DVD/CD in my 98 laptop but all I hear is audio help

No chance, you need a more modern laptop with a newer version of Windows (Windows 7 or later).

98 laptop i assume Win98? Not sure this will work but thought of vlc. Give it a crack.

Says to install kernelEx to take an older version on vlc player. May have to update codecs afterwards not sure. Haven't done this so you'll have to be the guinea pig.

um youre gonna need a whole lotta technical explination to understand dvd compatibility on a 17 year old computer. id suggest computer parts from the 21st century.
