Solved! How do I cancel using phone and use the remote

I have a Polaroid HDTV 4K 55in and it wanted me to connect to my phone. Now I can’t get the remote to work. How do I get the remote to work and cancel out the phone

Have to tried unpairing all devices and repairing the remote to tv? Or as simply as this is gone sound, new batteries in the remote.. I may or may not have done that before...lol..

Were you using an app on the phone as a remote? If not I'm not sure that it would affect the remote. As suggested check the batteries.
You could try resetting the TV to the factory default settings.
