Question How do I connect a camcorder with only RCA A/V output to a PC?

The Sony camcorder only has a Video and an audio RCA output. I could use a connection to my DVD recorder, but video quality may be lost. The preferred way is direct to Laptop/PC. Many coments on Amazon for converters for RCA connections seem to indicate they don't work well, don't waste my money. Does anyone have any luck with either method? Is there a GREAT way?

best thing to to would be a video capture card by USB or PCIe, a TV card/adapter would work as well
