Solution A A americanaudiophile Oct 31, 2016 If your sat box is connected to both TVs with HDMI your new TV may not be happy with cable that your old TV was OK with. Try a different input on the new TV. Try a different cable if possible. If you have a distribution amp to split the sat box output try connecting the remote TV to the box directly. Each device and cable in the HDMI path affects if it works. An HDMI amplifier might help if the HDMI cable for the remote TV is a long one. https/www.amazon.com/COWEEN-Repeater-Extender-Splitter-Amplifier/dp/B01GHL72XS/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1477929804&sr=8-4&keywords=hdmi+cable+signal+booster
