How do I connect multiple components to Plasma 3D TV when the surround sound receiver has one HDMI input working, I have a Bluray Player, Direct TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and Macbook to connect and want to have surround sound.

You are asking a very simple question of, how do I stuff more people in an 2-seater convertible.

Obvious answer: a newer receiver with more HDMI ports.

But OK, to hold you over this is your only remaining solution, giving you all surround as requested:

Assuming your TV has enough HDMI ports and your receiver has enough digital audio in ports (optical or RCA), let the TV switch video, but let the receiver switch the audio. Hookup all HDMI to TV, and hook up all your digital audio to the receiver. Program your universal remote to send 2 signals, once to switch video, again to switch audio.

An HDMI input selector would add as many inputs as you could use.
