How do I connect my bose AV18 to an older Phillips tv

How do I connect my bose AV18 surround sound to my old Phillips tv.
To watch movies. It will play music cds.. the radio works .but I haven't figured out how to get it to play movies

Since we don't know what model TV you have we don't know what connections you have.
Bose has analog and optical. If TV has headphone out, line level audio out, or optical out (this is the most common one) then you just need a cable.
