How do I connect to the internet on my 4.0 android tablet

I just got a maylong 4.0 android tablet. The instuctions are vague on how to set up an internet connection. any help?

If your talking about connecting to your wireless home network then you will need to enter the wieless password and you can go into the settings of the tablet and look for WiFi and then just turn it to the on position and it will look for available networks and when it identifies yours you can then enter the password.

I cannot get cell phone service in my remote area. i do have hi speed wild blue internet and dish net service. Do I need to buy a WiFi setup? i mainly want it for when we travel.

It's a bog-standard Android Ice-cream Sandwich system. Click on the wi-fi icon and it will "see" local networks and invite you to choose which to join. Enter your wireless security key and away you go. Please start a new thread if you need further help - this old one is closing.
