How do I download photos to my computer from my phone?

Hello,
I want to download the pictures from my phone to my computer but I don't know how. I'm quite the novice so help needs to be in baby talk for me.

Just plug phone to computer with USB and turn phone to USB storage mode (should give you that option once you connect phone to computer). Access photo on the phone like a USB drive on your computer.

Thank-you Pyree for your answer. The phone is a Samsung Admire Android. I don't know if it's me or the phone but I couldn't get any options by using the USB. I finally just plugged the SD card directly into the computer. At least I got my photos.

If you're using a laptop you could simply transfer your photos via bluetooth.
