Your best bet is to reset the router and make a new password. You can usually do this with a small pin in a reset hole on the router.

Go to start-->Run

type: ipconfig /all
hit enter
write down your gateway/dns server, probably 192.168.1.1

Go into your web browser, type in the number.

Login - the login can vary
username: try- admin, administrator
Passwords: try- admin, password
If it is a Linksys, no username, password is admin

Go into wireless security settings, and there you go.

You can reset the router to default settings. There is a small pin reset button. Then just reconfigure everything...

Sometimes the passwords are on a sticker underneath the router.
