How do I find my security for my wifi?

I am trying to hook it up with a device of mine and it must know the type of security of it wether it is wep, wpa-psk (tkip) etc... Help

Open your router configuration pages and look under Wireless in the security section. Also, write down your security passkey as you will need that too. Most modern devices use WPA2 personal with AES encryption.
