I need to find out if a *.TGA (Targa) file I have is 16, 24 or 32 Bit and wether it's uncompressed or compressed (RLE). I was told that information is available in Windows by right-clicking the file and choosing Properties, but I don't see those details. On "General" tab I see only the following: Type of file/Opens with/Location/Size/Size on disk/Created/Modified/Accessed/Attribute, and on "Details" tab I only see: Name/Type/Folder path/Size/Date created/Date modified/Attributes/Owner/Computer.
How do I find that out? I have searched Google but all I find out is how to open the files, not how to display the information I need to know.
PS: I have only Photoshop 7.0 to work with and I am on Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate. It doesn't seem to be possible to view that version in ver 7 of PS (unless I'm missing it somehow?), I don't want to update to any later version of Photoshop, so please suggest a different program for displaying the info I want to know. Thanks!
