How do i fix the hot laptop charger so that it can charge my laptop again

I plug the charger into the wall and like in 30 seconds the opposite side of the charger (the part you plug in to the laptop) gets really hot and won't charge

better buy a new charger

The charger is probably not working any more, replace it and you'd be fine.
