Solved! How do I get audio output from an Optoma gt1080darbee with an AppleTV?

Hello. I recently purchased an Optoma gt1080darbee and I'm able to get any sound out of it. The appleTV works fine when hooked up to a regular television, but not when plugged in over HDMI to the projector. Any help would be appreciated.

Try changing the audio output type in the Apple TV audio menu.
