Solved! How do i get my usb files

Hi, i have put my usb stick into the laptop & have difficulty to find the documents on it. i have searched my computer & the control panel & get nothing. I see the icon of usb on the bottom left hand corner & when i click on it, it says remove hardware safely, please help......

If you are looking at your My Computer list of drives - when you plug in your USB stick you'll see a new Removable Drive letter show up.
Click on that to find your files.
