How do i hook beefree surroundsound speakers to 50"smart rv

How do I hook up before surround sound speakers to a 50" smart TV

That will, of course, depend on what outputs the smart TV has. What make and model is it?

I pulled up the spec sheet and the only audio output listed was optical. So you will need a surround sound system with a "tuner" box (I forgot the right term!) that converts digital to a signal for the speakers. Do you already have a speaker system and, if so, what make and model (yes, I should have asked that in the first place)?

Anyway, the cheapest one has an optical input. Look at the back of your subwoofer / control unit. Does it have an optical input? If so, connect one to the optical output on the TV and see if you get sound.

This is as far as I can help you. That model number doesn't bring up anything. At least some of the Befree systems do, as I noted above, have optical input. All I can suggest is that you look at the back of the main unit and, if it has an optical input, try connecting it to your TV. The optical input will look the same as the optical output on your TV.
