How do I hook up mybose lifes tyle

Hooked up the optical cable to the TV ,I have volume but no picture .what doI do to get a picture. Im new to a complete bose system any help would be great. Thanks

The optical cable gets sound from the TV into the Bose.
If your Bose has a DVD player then you will also need to connect the video out of the Bose to the TV to get a picture.
If both the Bose and TV have ARC (audio return channel) then you won't need the optical connection. Check the manuals for how to use it.
