How do i link my laptop to main computer

Hello,
I want to link up my newish sony viao laptop via wireless router to my main PC can I set this up myself or would I have to have someone who knows what theyre doing?I don't think Im competent on my own with my limited knowledge HELP!

Link the laptop to the router.
Link the PC to the router.
You should go into Network and Sharing and follow the wizard to setup a home group.
But really, if you have no idea how to do this and don't feel adventurous enough to try, have someone do that for you.
The way I learn stuff is that I try to do it myself and when i get stuck I do some online research. Works most of the time.
