Solved! How do i play a dvd on new toshiba laptop

just bought a toshiba c655-s225 laptop. theres no cd tht came with it, but how do i play movies? am i to download something or is it supposed to come preinstalled?

Window 7?

Window 7 comes with Window media player and can play dvd.

If you wish not to use that program, I suggest:

Media Player Classic with Combined Comunity Codec Pack (MPC CCCP)<preferred*

or

VideoLAN (VLC)
