Solved! How do I prevent a local folder on my PC to continue syncing to my Onedrive

Hi all

I have a very large local folder which always syncs to my onedrive, so it immediately runs out of space.
Is it possible to prevent this local folder from syncing to my onedrive(5 GB)?

I only want to locally store the file.

It seems that my entire "document" folder automatically syncs to onedrive

You need to check your setup in your OneDrive to make sure it is only accessing specific files or specific folders.

How would I do that?
I managed to get to my backup and stopped backing up my documents but that didn't do much and made everything worse

I don't use OneDrive, never have, so I can't answer that. Here is a link to their sites help center for OneDrive. Using the lower links (not the ones on the top of the page) or the search box you should be able to find what you need.
