How do I remove a RAT or KEYLOOGER

Recently I started playing 2007 Runescape again and I downloaded a bot. The bot worked fine and worked for a few days. Well turns out it installed a keylogger or a Rat and I was hacked. I ran Malware Anti-Bites and it didn't find the logger. What program do I do to remove it?

If it were me, I'd backup my data, format the drive, and do a clean install of the OS. There is no way to know if remnants are left behind from the logger.
