Hi,

My wife's LG Power 3 phone I recently started to lock her screen whenever she places or receives a call. (see pic)
She can't mute her calls, use bluetooth, use dial pad, access contacts, etc.

We called LG and no one there seems to know what to do.
We even reset the phone and it's still there.

How do we remove this?

Thanks!

Does your phone have any proximity sensor? At first make sure to check that.

Then during a call keep an eye on the screen while bringing it towards your ear. Does the screen light turn off ? If not please check the proximity sensor. it may have been disabled. If the phone has a proximity sensor please turn it on.

Hi Anadoe,

Thanks for the reply.
Yes it does, but after further testing, it turns out the proximity sensor is not working correctly, along with 4 other sensors, so it's a hardware issue.

Since she needs her phone for work I can't really do anything for the moment.
I will try to do a hard reset to see if it fixes anything, otherwise it may be time to get a new phone.

I will keep you posted.
Thanks again.

Edit: After hard reset issue remains. Time to go shopping...
