how do I set up my xbox one to my vizio smartcast 4K TV via HDMI

I cannot get the TV to read the xbox - do I need to also connect the cable box to the x box one. I have Comcast

You just need to connect the XBOX to the TV with the cable, and switch to the right source on the TV to see it. If it does not work, test with another cable.
