Hi

either your hard drive has failed or the cmos has got corrupted.

(CMOS memory stores information about hardware and which device to boot up from)

Do you have a DVD drive ?

if so insert a bootable CD or DVD disk (Windows disk ?) and see what happens.
If no DVD drive make a bootable usb memory stick with Windows on it.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool

Check in bios /uefi if the hard drive is detected and what boot order is set to.

CD then hard drive is ok if CD or DVD drive exists

If this is a very new laptop ask the supplier for help
(as this problem should not happen unless you dropped the laptop or subjected laptop to impact or vibration while switched on)

I had the same problem on my Acer Aspire Switch 10 2-in-1 portable. And I found a simple solution that likely will work for you and want to share here.

The trick normally is to reset the computer by removing the battery. But the battery is sealed and I could not get to it! So what I did was to let "no bootable device found....." screen on overnight, until the next morning when the internal battery drains out and computer is cold. It worked when I restart the pc with external DC charger applied!

Hi

the remove & insert the hard drive may well work.

I was helping an old man who dropped his laptop 3 times over a 4 month period
The first 2 times the drive came out of the SATA socket and worked when re inserted.

The third time the hard disk suffered physical damage and had to be replaced.

Hi

The issue is you have to change to Legacy BIOS from UEFI BIOS.

Go to the BIOS settings once the laptop/computer starts and this would then fix your issue

Hope that helps

Thanks
