how do i transfer music from my pc to i phone 5 ?

I tried connectiing my iphone to the pc but can only view the photos. Please advise how do i transfer the music from my pc to the iphone!

Select your music in Explorer and just drag'n'drop it into the iTunes window. I do it like this.
