How do I unlock my MacBook Air

I just bought a 2013 MacBook Air and it is a used computer. The previous owner did not unlock the computer so I'm stuck on the log in screen. I'm not wanting to reset to factory setting because of a program that was purchased by the previous owner that I would like to keep. Please help

Take it to an Apple Store with some form of proof of ownership.
No one here can help you, un-locking/password removal is against the forum rules.
